Vanderbilt baseball Saturday starting lineup vs. Auburn

by SID - It is an overcast day in Auburn after rain saturated the area overnight. The field here is in excellent shape and drains very well. With a turf management major here, there are several knowledgeable folks and students who work on it daily.

Overcast at 61 degrees with 94% humidity. Winds from the SSE at 11 mph gusting to 19 mph.

Anyway enough on the weather, Coach Corbin has decided not to mess with success and is using the exact same starting lineup as last night. Right-hander Caleb Cotham (3-2, 3.90 ERA) will be looking for his first win in SEC play after starting the year with a 3-0 record and a 1.29 ERA in his first three starts. In his two starts against Ole Miss and Kentucky he is 0-2 with a 10.00 ERA.

Auburn's starter on the mound is Jon Luke Picard (really Jacobs, just a shout out to Star Trek fans), a red shirt freshman right-hander with a 2-0 record and 4.97 ERA. He has 24 strikeouts and 11 walks in 25.1 innings. He has given up four runs in his two five inning starts in SEC play against Tennessee (3/15) and Arkansas (3/21).
