By SID - Persistent rain has caused Saturday's game against Ole Miss to be postponed. The teams will make it up as part of a doubleheader on Sunday starting at Noon. Per Southeastern Conference regulations, the games will be seven-inning contests.
Weather has wreaked havoc across the Southeast as two games were postponed last night (Georgia at Alabama, South Carolina at Mississippi State) and caused delays in others (Kentucky at LSU and Ole Miss at Vanderbilt).
While the weather situations can be quite a downer, take a look at what this school in Maine has to go through (Picture of their field is above). Makes you appreciate Vanderbilt's situation with over 30 home games a year.
