Auburn's starter on the mound is Taylor Thompson, a junior right-hander with a 1-1 record and 8.38 ERA. He has 11 strikeouts and 5 walks in 9.2 innings. His last start came against Charleston Southern on March 18. He allowed just one run on three hits in five innings with six strikeouts and a walk. The Dores have had some success against him in the past, scoring three runs in an inning of relief work last season while also touching him for four runs on eight hits in a 4.1 inning start two years ago in Auburn.
