Baseball update from Auburn

by SID - Storms and overcast skies have saturated the area and the skies have yet to clear in Auburn. The radar shows that the sun will eventually come out, but we have yet to see it. Could be a soggy day at the park. One thing for sure, both teams definitely want to play today to avoid the doubleheader on Sunday.

Most coaches in college baseball are traditionalists and prefer nine-inning contests rather than the seven-inning games played on Sundays. Doubleheaders are also tough on the players and teams to try and sweep.
