Starting Lineup vs. Indiana

by Travis Young - Here is the lineup for today's elimination game against Indiana. The lineup is a little different than yesterday as Curt Casali will bat in the three hole while Steven Liddle slides down to the cleanup spot. Giobbi and Westlake switched places in the order as Giobbi will hit fifth and Westlake sixth. Loftus and Esposito will switch places in the order as Loftus moves up to seventh while Esposito will bat eighth.

Indiana will start junior left-hander Matt Bashore while Vanderbilt will counter with Gray. Bashore is 7-4 with a 3.57 ERA with 101 strikeouts and 29 walks in 90.2 innings of work. Scouting reports have him throwing anywhere from 88-91, with the ability to dial it up to 93-94.

Gray is coming off one of his best start's of his collegiate career where he struck out a career high 11 batters in seven innings of work against South Carolina at the SEC Tournament last week.

Vanderbilt will be the home team Saturday against the fourth-seeded Hoosiers.
