By Ryan Schulz - Vanderbilt signee and Nashville native Ryan Lipman was recently awarded the Bill Talbert Junior Sportsmanship Award from the United States Tennis Association. Linked below is a video the USTA put together about Lipman winning the award.Lipman was one of just four recipients, male or female, to win the award, which is given to a junior player who exemplifies the finest qualities of sportsmanship in tournament play and of the great sportspersons of tennis past and present.
Lipman signed with Vanderbilt in November and will join the Commodores next fall.
