Baseball 80's and 90's theme nights

From the marketing department

Fire up the flux capacitor and journey back to the 1980’s with Vanderbilt Baseball on Tuesday, April 6. The game will be decked out in the 80’s from top to bottom as the Commodores host the Belmont Bruins. The 80’s tribute will feature themed promotions including a Michael Jackson dance competition, air guitar contest and recognition for the “best dressed” fans. Also, arrive early to get your hands on a pack of vintage 1980’s bubblegum baseball cards, which will be distributed to the first 100 fans. Dig through the parts of your closet that you haven't seen in decades for your leg warmers, acid-washed jeans and members-only jackets. We want to see Hawkins Field overrun with Reebok high tops, Swatch watches and oversized fluorescent shirts. The 80’s are back... “And now you know, and knowing is half the battle.” - G.I. Joe

But wait, there’s more! On Tuesday, April 13, Vanderbilt Baseball will honor the 1990’s as Middle Tennessee State visits Hawkins Field. Again, 100 packs of vintage baseball cards will be passed out to the first fans in attendance. Your favorite sitcoms, movies and music from the 90’s will be revisited, all while wearing parachute pants and Doc Martens. You will not want to miss the MC Hammer dance contest, Double Dare game show and TRL countdown.

Both games will begin at 6:00 p.m. CT. Show up early and stay late as Vanderbilt baseball relives the 80’s and 90’s. Click here to purchase tickets
