NFL Draft first round recap

The first round of the NFL draft is in the books.  The SEC was well represented with seven players selected, the second highest of the night. The Big 12 led all conferences with nine players drafted including five of the first six picks.

Rounds 2 and 3 will be televised live tonight at 5 p.m. CT on ESPN2 and the NFL Network.

Round 1 - SEC Players
5th: Kansas City - Eric Berry, Safety, Tennessee
7th: Cleveland - Joe Haden, Cornerback, Florida
8th: Oakland - Rolando McClain, Linebacker, Alabama
18th: Pittsburgh - Maurkice Pouncey, Center, Florida
20th: Houston - Kareem Jackson, Cornerback, Alabama
25th: Denver - Tim Tebow, Quarterback, Florida
26th: Arizona - Dan Williams, Defensive Tackle, Tennessee
