by Barca Blog - I've received several emails from fans asking about the television coverage for Saturday's game at Rice.
CSS Officials responded with the following info: The Vanderbilt-Rice game will be an exclusive presentation of CSS. It will not be available on ESPN GamePlan, espn360.com, Direct TV or the Dish Network.
That's fine when you've got a guy like Joe Fisher!
ReplyDeleteJoe provides more in-depth emotional coverage than the television commentators do anyway.
ReplyDeleteBut why isn't the replay available on secsports.com??
ReplyDeletemy educated guess... in the sec, online replays will be available for all conference matchups, and non-conference games hosted by the SEC institution. some sec non-conference road games are archived on secsports.com (for example, uga at ok state) because espn/abc televised the contest and had the rights... but the vanderbilt/rice game was shown on css... and css aired it exclusively, which would be why it isn't archived on secsports.com. you can view highlights of the game on vucommodores.com.
