Coach Johnson's challenge

by Barca Blog - We had a very loud and active crowd for the home opener against Western Carolina two weeks ago... and Coach Johnson's looking for a repeat performance from the Commodore Nation against Mississippi State this Saturday.

"If we can make it loud, it makes it tougher on the opponent to run their offense," Johnson said during his call-in show on Monday night. "My charge to our fans would be to make it loud. Forty-thousand fans can be just as loud as 90,000 especially in our stadium since we're right down on the field."

If you haven't purchased your Mississippi State tickets yet, make sure you take advantage of a great offer. In support of the SEC's Together We Can initiative, Vanderbilt fans that bring in a canned food item to the McGugin Center Ticket Office by Friday have the option to purchase a ticket for a reduced price of $35 ($15 off face value). If you already have tickets, please bring canned food items to the game to be donated to Middle Tennessee food banks. More Info

Also, you can listen to a replay of last night's call-in show at this link.
