You Take the Good: Vanderbilt is 5-1 this season following a loss. The only time they've dropped consecutive games was when they fell to Illinois and Western Kentucky in early December. ... VU was also 6-2 outside of Memorial during conference play, which tied Kentucky for the best mark. They've won three consecutive games on the road against teams that were fighting the NCAA bubble (Florida, Arkansas and Ole Miss).
You Take the Bad: Since divisional play went into effect in 1992, Vanderbilt is 2-8 in quarterfinal games of the SEC Tournament. They advanced to the semifinals in 1993 and 2004, but lost both times. The only time the 'Dores have made the finals was in 1951, when they won their only tournament title (beat Kentucky, 61-57).
