George MacIntyre saved from flood

This is an amazing story of how former Vanderbilt football coach George MacIntyre was rescued from his flooded home in Bellevue on Sunday.

MacIntyre was saved by one of his sons, Matt, and Tennessean photographer George Walker. Matt said he had to swim into the house to get his dad, who is bedridden with multiple sclerosis.

MacIntyre coached the Commodores from 1979-85 and led the '82 team to the Hall of Fame Bowl.
