Here's a look at the SEC standings after the completion of Friday night's games.
Vanderbilt now holds the sixth spot by two games after the Commodores cruised past Mississippi State in Starkville, and LSU blew a six-run lead to Kentucky in Lexington. The Dores also moved within a game of Auburn for fifth place after the Tigers lost at home to red-hot Tennessee, 9-3.
The top eight teams in the standings will be invited to play in the SEC Tournament from May 26-30 in Hoover, Ala.
