Center Festus Ezeli was featured on WSMV's newscast last night.
Terry Bulger's piece focused on how Fes has grown as a basketball player since first discovering the sport when he was 14.
"I still remember the first day they gave me a basketball and told me to shoot it," Ezeli said. "I took it with two hands and I chucked it at the backboard and everyone started laughing. That's how bad it was. I had never played basketball before."
Six years later, Fes has developed into a force in the middle for the Commodores. The redshirt sophmore averages 5.0 points and 3.4 rebounds per game while ranking in the top 10 of the SEC with 24 blocked shots.
