Thank you, Commodore fans

In response to the recent earthquake in Haiti, Vanderbilt student-athletes collected shoe donations in partnership with Soles4Souls at both the men’s and women’s basketball games at Memorial Gym this past weekend.

We received an overwhelming response from Commodore fans! Thanks to you, Vanderbilt will be contributing a large amount of shoes to the 1 million pairs Soles4Souls has committed to the victims in Haiti.

Soles4Souls is a Nashville-based charity that collects shoes from the warehouses of footwear companies and the closets of people like you. The charity distributes these shoes free of charge to people in need, regardless of race, religion, class, or any other criteria.
