By Ryan Schulz - Former Commodore lefty David Price earned his fourth win of the season and second of July on Friday as Tampa Bay defeated Kansas City 8-2.
Price tossed seven innings of five-hit baseball, surrendering just one run, while walking two and striking out three. The seven innings pitched matched a career high for Price, who moved to 4-4 on the season.
The strong outing was much needed for Price after two of his previous four starts lasted three innings or less.
