by Barca Blog - Vanderbilt golfer Marina Alex (rising sophomore) had the opportunity to meet Lorena Ochoa, the top-ranked LPGA golfer in the world, during the U.S. Women's Open practice round Tuesday at Saucon Valley Country Club. The two players have a common connection- Vanderbilt's Greg Allen also coached Ochoa during his previous stint at Arizona.Alex will blog throughout the week on vucommodores.com as she prepares to tee it up in her first Open Thursday.
