Following the Commodores' 90-71 win over the Vols, head coach Kevin Stallings gave an update on freshman guard John Jenkins, who missed Tuesday's game with a stomach virus.
"He started vomiting last night about midnight," Stallings said. "Around 4 a.m., he was in the emergency room. After five bags of IVs, they determined that he wasn't getting any better. He was continuing to vomit. They admitted him and he is there overnight.
"At 8:30 or 9 o'clock this morning, I thought he was going to play. Then at about 1 o'clock or 12:30, I found out he was going to be admitted and kept overnight tonight.
"We missed John tonight and wish he could have been there with us."
