This Week's Schedule
Big week for the Commodores, especially if they intend to compete for the SEC Championship. Vanderbilt has a showdown with SEC West leader Mississippi State on Wednesday at Memorial Gym, and a tough road matchup with Georgia on Saturday. Don't let UGA's record fool you, either. They have defeated Tennessee, Georgia Tech and Illinois at Stegeman Coliseum this season.

Also worth mentioning... ESPN.com's Andy Katz declared Wednesday's tilt with MSU as one of the places to be this week in his Weekly Watch:
Two of the best bigs in the SEC that don't play for Kentucky will match up when Mississippi State goes to Vanderbilt in a game that has significance for both. The Commodores are coming off a loss at Kentucky, while Mississippi State had a rough go at Arkansas before beating LSU at home.
