by Barca Blog - The Commodores have been catching the wrong kinds of breaks this season, especially if you're referring to their weekly injury report.
Kentucky -- Vanderbilt's next opponent -- also knows a thing or two about the injury bug heading into Saturday's conference matchup in Nashville.
According to Brett Dawson of The Courier-Journal, at least 15 players on Kentucky's roster missed Sunday's practice including wide receiver Randall Cobb (thumb), tailback Derrick Locke (knee), and cornerback Trevard Lindley (ankle).
While the Wildcats are banged up (like most teams this time of year), head coach Rich Brooks expects a majority of those players to at least practice in a limited fashion on Tuesday.
One intriguing storyline will be how Brooks handles the quarterback situation for Saturday. Starter Mike Hartline has missed the last four games with a torn medial collateral ligament but could be ready to return to the field. In Hartline's absence, the trio of Morgan Newton, Will Fidler and Cobb have pitched in to lead UK to a 3-1 record. Hartline's status for Saturday is still questionable and may not be determined until later in the week.
