'Dores to face Chaminade on Day 2 in Maui

by Barca Blog - Vanderbilt's next opponent at the Maui Invitational will be Chaminade, the Division II host of the tournament.

Both teams lost in Monday's opening round: the Commodores were defeated by Cincinnati, 67-58, while the Silverswords fell to Maryland, 79-51.

The game will be televised by ESPN2 at 12:30 p.m. CT Tuesday, which would be 8:30 a.m. local time on the islands.

"We've never had a game this early," head coach Kevin Stallings said. "That will rearrange our schedule because we won't be getting up at 4:30 to eat our pregame meal.

"We've got be be ready. If they say we've got to play at 8:30, then we've got to play at 8:30, and hopefully we'll play better than we did today."
