by Barca Blog - What a great way to get the men's basketball season started (unofficially).
The Commodores raced out to an early lead and never looked back with a 91-56 victory over Alabama-Huntsville in an exhibition matchup Tuesday night at Memorial Gym.
Sure, at the end of the day, none of the stats actually counted in the scorebook (not even John Jenkins first couple of treys as a 'Dore).
That's okay though.
Like most of you, I was just satisfied to finally have the chance to see this year's bunch on the court after all of the preseason build up.
Now, we move on to the real season, which (officially) begins Monday with a much tougher challenger in Lipscomb... a team favored to win the Atlantic Sun conference.

ReplyDeleteGreat game! But really sorry to see that the "Memorial Magic" video that was shown before tip off the last few years seems to be retired. Any chance to bring that back? That video was especially awesome, and could actually have been updated with some new video from the last couple of years (Shan vs MSU anyone?).
