Please join the National Commodore Club, Vanderbilt coaches and student-athletes for a picnic celebrating Vanderbilt athletics on Tuesday, Aug. 25, from 6 to 8 p.m. The program begins at 6:45 p.m. at the Memorial Gym Plaza and the adjacent baseball patio.Head football coach Bobby Johnson will kick-off the picnic at 6:30 p.m. with remarks about 2009 Vanderbilt Football and several Vanderbilt coaches and student-athletes will also be on hand to discuss their upcoming seasons and sign autographs.
Tickets are $10 per person; Children 12 and under free. The picnic will feature barbecue and refreshments from Golden Rule Smokehouse.
