by Barca Blog - Another two-a-day practice is taking place on the turf of the John Rich Practice Facility. Prior to the morning session, some of the D-line posed for a quick snapshop for the blog. Of course, the always reliable "Smo" went to his signature move, the left bicep flex.
These guys will be beasts in the trenches this year, especially with the amount of depth and talent available to shuffle in and out of games. The Commodores did suffer a big loss, though, when it was announced yesterday that Steven Stone will be sidelined with a foot fracture for approximately six weeks. I hope the senior end has a speedy and healthy recovery.
The team will have to go a combined 4+ hours in the heat today. As for me, I lasted about 20 minutes in the scorching 90 degree weather. I should have put in the hours during Coach Sisk's conditioning program this summer.
(Editor's note: Just found out the afternoon practice has been cancelled)
