Alberstadt to headline event at Factory

Press Release -- Nashville’s Keith Alberstadt will join honorary chair Kix Brooks (of country duo Brooks & Dunn) at the annual Laughter for the Children event at the Factory in November.

Alberstadt is a graduate of Vanderbilt University (1995). Prior to becoming a full-time comedian and moving to New York City, Alberstadt worked in the Vanderbilt Athletic Department and served as their sideline reporter for football games for many years. He currently provides “The Stadt Sheet” on 104.5 The Zone’s Overtime.

“The Magic of Laughter” evening will include a comedy performance, a strolling magician, dinner, drinks and auctions. It will be emceed by Rhori Johnston from News Channel 5.

The 16th Annual Laughter for the Children comedy event will be held Friday, November 13, at Liberty Hall at the Factory of Franklin in Franklin, Tenn., at 6:30 p. m.

Tickets for the main event are $85 per person, go to www.laughterforthechildren.com. All proceeds will benefit Monroe Harding’s programs for at-risk children, youth and families in the foster care system.
