Mayor Karl Dean delivered a video bowl message to the Nashville community Friday afternoon.
"It doesn't get much better for Middle Tennessee," said Mayor Dean. "Whether you're a hardcore football fan, new to the game, or somewhere in-between, come on out to LP Field to cheer the 'Dores to a win over Boston College.
"It's time to catch the spirit, wear Black and Gold, and show some Nashville pride on New Year's Eve. Happy Holidays everyone and lets help the Commodores make hometown history!"
