Saturday baseball suspended in 4th inning

NASHVILLE--- Vanderbilt’s baseball game against Georgia, started two hours and 27 minutes late and after three and a half innings was suspended for the night with the Bulldogs holding a 4-2 lead.

The game was originally scheduled for 6 p.m. and was delayed due to the torrential rain that hit middle Tennessee all day.

The teams will try and complete the game at Noon on Sunday, followed by a seven-inning contest 30 minutes later. If the games don’t get started and are cancelled then the suspended game will not officially count with just the Friday game in the books.
