Clinard vs. Reid in Black & Gold Game 4

by SID - Just received some info from captains Andrew Giobbi and Drew Hayes. Redshirt freshman Will Clinard will get the start for the Gold team, while Chase Reid will take the hill for the Black squad.

When "The Stache" (glamour shot above, to the right) talked to the duo last week, they mentioned that run differential would play a factor in the series. After the series, the team with the lower amount of runs scored would have to jog the difference Wednesday morning.

The Gold team got off to a quick start with a 6-3 win and a 7-1 victory. After the first two games, they had a 13-4 advantage, meaning a nine-mile run for the Black if things ended then. Well that ended on Sunday, with the Black team's 13-4 victory, the runs for the series are even at 17-17.
