Black and Gold gametimes set

by SID - As Eric Jones mentioned in an earlier blog, the annual Black and Gold series has been extended from three games to five this year. The games will be played on October 15, 16, 18, 19 and 20. The first week of practice was pushed back four days due to wet weather, so this allowed head coach Tim Corbin to add the extra games. The teams will be selected later this week and we will post them as they come available. All five games of the series will be played, weather permitting.

Admission to the games are free and fans will be able to see 11 newcomers from a recruiting class ranked No. 8 in the country by Collegiate Baseball. Below is the full schedule:

Thursday, October 15- 6 p.m.
Friday, October 16- 6 p.m.
Saturday, October 17- OFF (Football vs. Georgia at 11:20)
Sunday, October 18- 1 p.m.
Monday, October 19- 8 p.m. (due to afternoon class schedules)
Tuesday, October 20- 6 p.m.

We will have live stats and audio available for all five games on vucommodores.com. Eric "The Stache" Jones will call the action with select guests throughout the series.
