By Travis Young - Vanderbilt sophomore distance standout Rita Jorgensen competed in the 1500-meter run at last weekend's Mideast Regional Championships in Louisville, Ky. Jorgensen advanced to the 1500 finals after clocking a 4:24.95 in the prelims before finishing in ninth place a day later in the finals.
