Gatewood back with the Redskins
Washington signed linebacker Curtis Gatewood from Pittsburgh's practice squad on Tuesday. The former Commodore is no stranger to the Redskins... he spent part of 2008, his rookie season, on their practice squad before playing in six games for Kansas City.

Love the Drake
The Birmingham News has a nice blog on George Drake. With a year of eligibility remaining, Drake transferred to UAB (which is closer to home) to play basketball and to work toward a master’s degree in health education. He's averaging 7.9 points and 3.3 rebounds per game for the Blazers. Read More

Better Move Fast for Tickets...
From Boggles... Memorial Gym is on the verge of a men’s basketball season-ticket sellout for the fourth consecutive year, with less than 75 season tickets remaining to be sold.

There is also a limited number of single-game tickets available in the lower level in the student section over the holiday break for the following games: TSU (December 19), Mercer (December 21), Manhattan (December 30), Southern Miss (January 2), and MTSU (January 4).
