Vanderbilt's football team will play six home games during 2009, including Southeastern Conference encounters against Georgia, Kentucky, Ole Miss and Mississippi State. In releasing the 2009 schedule, Vanderbilt and SEC officials also announced the Commodores would switch dates for the Mississippi State and Ole Miss games. Click Here to read more.
Why on earth did our officials arrange a schedule without a BYE week? Unlike 2008, when there were two such weeks, the 2009 calendar only allows for one. With that in mind, how could we not give our guys the benefit of a week off??
ReplyDeleteIs there any chance of moving a game to the weekend after Thanksgiving? Moving the Army game would be fantastic to give us a bye week during the middle of the schedule. I don't think Army plays that weekend either...
