By WeinmanEarlier today, Commodore student-athletes hosted children from Westmeade Elementary for a Field Day at the Vanderbilt track & field complex. I dropped by to take some photos of the 100's of kids -- both big and small -- playing a variety of games on an absolutely beautiful day.
Photo GalleryOften times, it was hard to tell who was having more fun -- the kids from Westmeade or the Vanderbilt students. The elementary kids were put in teams before making their way through a host of activities which included kickball, capture the flag, water balloons and box ball along with more traditional sports drills like football, soccer and basketball.
The morning ended with both sides saying their thank you's and enjoying pizza.
