Senior Day festivities set for Saturday

by Barca Blog - Fans, make sure you show up to the Kentucky game early on Saturday to recognize the careers of 24 Commodores on Senior Day. The program is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. CT inside the stadium.

Head coach Bobby Johnson commented on the importance of this class during Monday's press conference.

"Every senior class that comes through is a neat story because you see them come in as freshman and than you see them progress throughout their careers. You see them become better players and you see them mature as people. That is the great thing about being a coach around kids this age; you get to see that process happen.

"Obviously this senior class has done a very good job. They were a part of a bowl team for the first time in 25 years and they take pride in that. They also worked hard during the tough times and when things were not going as they would have liked it to. Those are the type of men that you want around your program."

Here's the full list of senior day participants:
Mackenzi Adams, Bo Baggarley, Patrick Benoist, Greg Billinger, Joel Caldwell, Ryan Custer, Chris DeGeorge, Justin Green, Ryan Hamilton, Jared Hawkins, Eric Hensley, Chris Johnson, John Laughrey, Myron Lewis, Gaston Miller, Chris Reinert, Broderick Stewart, Steven Stone, Brent Trice, Brett Upson, Bradley Vierling, Alex Washington, Thomas Welch and Justin Wheeler.
