Congratulations to Vanderbilt Athletics' 2010 Hall of Fame class (view complete list). The 10 newest members will be officially inducted during Hall of Fame Weekend September 3-5.

Ann Hutcheson Price, who played tennis at Vanderbilt from 1969-1971, and David Williams, Vice Chancellor for University Affairs and Athletics, were available to talk with reporters following the announcement earlier today on campus. Watch videos below:

Who should be in the 2010 Hall of Fame?

It's that time again.. please turn in your 2010 Vanderbilt Athletics Hall of Fame nominations at VUcommodores.com. Just submit your choice at this link by Friday, March 12. We are accepting online submissions for the first time, too, so let your voice be heard.

Please note that intern Travis is not eligible.

Reaction from HOF Inductees

by Barca Blog - Steve Green sent me this photo of the 2009 Vanderbilt Hall of Fame inductees that were in attendance or represented at today's press conference.

Left to Right: Leigh Ann Hawkins (wife of the late Charles Hawkins), Vice Chancellor David Williams, Jim Arnold, Charles Davis, Roy Skinner and John Rich (son of the late Herb Rich).

Ryan Schulz was able to catch up with Arnold, Davis and Skinner after the official announcement. Find out how the former Commodores' reacted to the honor - click here.

In total, nine inductees will be recognized at a banquet on Friday, September 4 and introduced during half time of the Western Carolina football opener on Saturday, September 5.

Vanderbilt is now accepting applications for the 2009 Athletic Hall of Fame class.

If you thought a Commodore great was left off of last year's inaugural class, then download a nomination form today and let your voice be heard. (click here)

Applications will be accepted until March 6.
