'Dores lead 37-26 at the half over LSU

By Andy Boggs - A.J. Ogilvy scored 14 points and Jermaine Beal added 12, the last two on a rim-rattling dunk as time expired in the first half, to give the Commodores a 37-26 lead over LSU at the half.

The Commodores shot 50% for the half, while limiting LSU to only 34.5% from the first half. VU also outrebounded the Tigers, 20-18, in the first half.

Vanderbilt trailed early, 2-0, but emerged with the lead and saw their advantage grow to as many as 14 with 9:01 to go in the opening stanza.

The Commodores outscored the Tigers, 24-10, in the paint, partly in part by Ogilvy's impressive first half performance.
